Tom L

Tom L became interested in the possibility of an uncataloged ape-like creature with friends who enjoy hiking and studying wildlife in the outdoors.  He first became interested interested in the phenomenon with a client who has developed into a close friend.  Tom feels that the biggest return on this hobby is the opportunity to further enjoy the outdoors with friends.

D. B. Donlon

DB Donlon is a stay-at-home dad for three awesome kids.  He used to be a high school and community college English teacher.  His interest in bigfoot began back in the 1970s when such shows as In Search Of were common fare.  Shortly after the family watched the episode dealing with the Honey Island swamp monster, DB's dad got transferred to that area (the federal government had a test facility at a place nearby), and the whole family moved to a small MIssissippi town just over the highway from the outskirts of the Honey Island swamp.  Local people were still talking about the filming of the show, and talk of bigfoot and swampmonsters was everywhere.  DB caught the fever and started reading everything he could about bigfoot and other cryptozoological creatures, but he didn't pursue the interest any further at that time.  In 2004, DB decided to make something of his interest.  He went on several expeditions during the next few years, including in 2005 participating in an investigation of a sighting in Richmond with Billy and Tom of Sasquatchwatch of VA.  Though members of different bigfoot organizations at the time, they all kept in touch and did research together many more times over the intervening years.  Now DB is very pleased to join the ranks of Sasquatch Watch of VA.  DB is also the owner of The Blogsquatcher, a blog that deals with issues in bigfooting.

Adam Frye

Adam Frye lives in the Shenandoah Valley with the Shenandoah National Park in his backyard.  He has spent alot of time deployed with the various battalions of the 116th Infantry Regiment.  At home he works for a construction supply company.  He spends the rest of his time with his wife and children.  He has been interested in Bigfoot ever since watching shows about it on TV around the age of 12.  When  talking to his neighbor, he was amazed to hear that he had seen one only a mile from his home.  His neighbor wasn't sure what it was.  Adam printed out some pics of Bigfoot drawings off the internet at school and when he showed him the reaction was "Oh my god...that's what it was!".  That was his first Bigfoot investigation.  Fast forward ten years and he took a digital camera to the area and he found signs of what he believes to be a latrine area.  Alot of the pics can be seen here on the Sasquatch Watch of Virginia photo section.  He has continued to find more possible evidence to this day.  He has recently purchased a microscope to study hair and has a plan for collecting it.  Adam keeps in constant contact with the W.V.B.I.G.  He believes that sharing ideas and techniques helps out in this research.  In addition he believes that habitualization is the answer in discovering this elusive creature and does not support killing the creature to prove it's existence.
